Welcome to Kempston Academy; a place to grow.

We are a steadily expanding secondary academy for students aged 11 -18, situated within the heart of the Kempston community with a 20 place SEMH provision, Aspen. 

We are an improving school with great potential. We value diversity and provide high levels of nurture, support and challenge to our students; encouraging them to be accepting of themselves and others, whilst developing the knowledge to access the career paths of their choice. We recognise and welcome the enormous contribution our parents and carers make in supporting students and the invaluable links we have to community groups and external agencies. 

We encourage creativity and provide a curriculum that enables students to develop academically but also explore links to future careers and the world of work and industry.                       

For students who enjoy Sport, the Arts and Performing, we have a thriving after school curriculum where students can enter local and national competition or simply enjoy themselves learning new skills. 

Our school is developing and improving and we benefit greatly from the support and collaboration of the other schools within the trust, the school improvement team and members of central trust staff.   

As we grow in student numbers we grow in staff numbers and build our capacity. We value our staff and recognise the enormous contribution made by all of our teachers, teaching assistants, our site, support and admin teams, which enables teachers to teach and leaders to lead.
