Rewards 

Following consultation with staff, students and parents/guardians an updated rewards system was launched in the 2024/5 academic year. Part of the review included the student council. The new rewards include our Crown awards where every staff member nominates a student towards a potential raffle prize each week. All the praise slips for this are displayed each week on our Crown Award wall. The feedback from students and visitors has been nothing but positive about this new reward. The system is tiered so that students have a chance to receive rewards over the course of the academic year and always have a goal to aspire to. In the academic year of 2024/5 over 700 we were delighted that over students were rewarded.

Behaviour 

To ensure students are able to attain ambitious goals it is vital that they demonstrate respect and responsibility, and work together.

Our behaviour system is designed to provide a disruption-free learning environment so that teachers are able to teach and students are able to learn. Students who don't meet our expectations are dealt with promptly and appropriately in accordance with the steps outlined in our behaviour policy. We also recognise that some students will require support and intervention once they have completed a consequence and we have a number of support pathways available to us.
